Karin Bruhnke earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and her Preliminary Single Subject Credential for Social Sciences from the University of San Diego. Karin earned her Clear Single Subject Credential in Social Sciences and Cross-cultural Learning and Academic Development Certificate from the University of California, Irvine.
Karin has been teaching AP World History, AP Psychology and Economics and Government at San Pedro Senior High School for 19 years. She is a Mentor Teacher for new teachers (BTSA), an instructor for the Teacher Training Academy, a Service Learning Coordinator, creating projects to fulfill district graduation requirements, and a Master teacher supervising student teachers. Karin has been honored as San Pedro High School’s Lady Boosters Teacher of the Year and selected by San Pedro High School students as the Most Inspirational Teacher on Campus.
