Mr. Andrew Kordik has taught World History, US History, and Economics for ten years at Valley Center High School in Valley Center, CA. He has his undergraduate degree from California State University, San Marcos, and two master’s degrees from Fordham University and Harvard University. When interviewed, Mr. Kordik said, “This award means more to me than any other because it’s student-driven. Truly, it is the best feeling ever to know that former students secretly worked to make this happen. Beyond that, it’s exciting to be a part of this group — they have their hands in important work across the state, and they provide unique opportunities for past winners to expand our reach within education.”
